Avalon Library Board approves fund transfer to borough

NJ AVALON — Avalon Library Board unanimously approves intent to transfer record surplus to borough. All eight trustees present voted unanimously for Resolution 18-2026 on July 9, establishing intent to transfer accumulated library funds to the Borough of Avalon pending state librarian approval. Director Erin Brown noted the transfer represents the largest return on record for the library.

The move requires state librarian approval before funds can be released.
