NJ AVALON — Library board hires seasonal staff and approves building project capital amendment. The Avalon Free Public Library Board of Trustees, led by President Jacquie Ewing, unanimously hired four seasonal staff members: Jill Talarico and Rebecca Cyszewski as Library/Museum Assistants at $20.20 per hour for 12 weeks (estimated cost $9,200), and Alicia Arnold and Rebecca McDevitt as Program Assistants at $23 per hour for 12 weeks (estimated cost $10,488). The board unanimously approved a capital budget amendment to advance a building project with support from the Board of Education, allowing the library to move forward with public information sharing and community feedback gathering.
