NJ AVALON — Planning Board advances boutique hotel ordinance despite resident opposition. The Board voted unanimously to recommend the measure to Borough Council following a public comment session in which Martha Wright, Elaine Scattergood, and Karen Capacino opposed advancement. The Board also unanimously approved Ordinance 898-2026, amending the Board application process, and Ordinance 899-2026, amending the Fourth Round Housing Ordinance, both for consistency with the Master Plan.
All nine eligible members present voted in favor of each measure.
