Planning Board approves Boyle property variance and zoning ordinances

NJ AVALON — Avalon Planning Board approves ordinance updates and single-family dwelling variance. The Board voted unanimously to approve Ordinance 902-2026 and Ordinance 904-2026, updating zoning standards for property features and yard definitions consistent with the Master Plan. In separate action, the Board approved a variance allowing Constance Boyle to renovate or demolish and rebuild a single-family dwelling at 324 39th Street, with a c(1) Hardship variance approved unanimously and a c(2) Benefits variance approved seven to zero with one abstention by Eric Schiela.

Board Solicitor Paul J. Baldini reported that a settlement agreement in the 7th Haven, LLC lawsuit resulted in the Board's original resolution being upheld.
