Library Board Approves Remote Work Policy, Studies Expansion

NJ AVALON — Avalon library board approves remote work policy, reappoints marketing consultant. The Board of Trustees unanimously approved Resolution 7-2026 establishing a remote work policy for staff and unanimously approved Resolution 6-2026 reappointing a marketing consultant. Director Erin Brown reported the board unanimously authorized $380,591.37 in check payments and unanimously approved a part-time Library Assistant position at $20 per hour for up to 19 hours weekly.

The board also unanimously approved a Temple University facility use request for April 10 and reviewed architect designs for a potential Library/Health and Community construction project on 39th Street.
